Science|Business Network roundtable meeting
When it comes to industrial technologies, there is wide agreement on one thing: Europe needs to do more to maintain its competitiveness. But there’s less agreement on exactly what should be done. As part of its continuing series of events on the next EU Framework Programme, Science|Business is organising an expert roundtable meeting to suggest possible future directions for the EU’s efforts in supporting key enabling technologies for industry.
What emerging technology trends should the EU prioritise in the 2020s? How should artificial intelligence and machine learning be pursued within the Framework Programme. How will converging technologies – in nano, bio, ICT and other fields – change the way industry operates? Suggestions from this meeting will be compiled in a published Science|Business report, as a contribution to the Framework planning process.
