Horizon Europe: Assessment workshop on collaborative R&I actions

During its Annual Network Conference on February 8 & 9, Science|Business will launch a major white paper on Horizon Europe and the experience of its first year of activity, as seen through the eyes of leading R&I stakeholders. In the build-up to the main event, we are organising two focused workshops with members of our Network to help finalise its core messages and recommendations to the European Commission (on ways to improve Horizon’s value and engagement proposition).

The core of Horizon is the basic collaborative research and innovation projects in Pillar 2. The focus of this workshop is therefore to hear from members what has been helping or hindering their response to the first cycle of work programmes. Among the issues to be considered: How are the new calls going? What about the success rates? How does the application and evaluation process compare to Horizon 2020? How are the accounting rules and legal requirements in the Model Grant Agreement? How are widening criteria affecting proposal development? What would you change if you could?
