Global Horizon: Advancing the process for international cooperation

As announced by Commissioner Mariya Gabriel at our recent Annual Network Conference, the European Commission is moving rapidly forward with plans for a new international R&I strategy.  Beyond the headline negotiations with the UK and Switzerland, this has a much wider significance, given the EU’s twenty bilateral science and technology agreements with other leading R&D countries and ongoing political dialogues around the implications of “open strategic autonomy” for future alliances and agreements.  

In this private, online meeting, Science|Business Network members will have the opportunity to explore these topics in greater depth with Maria-Cristina Russo, DG Research’s director in charge of international cooperation, and to discuss what comes next in the policy planning process.
