The data shift: Moving toward outcomes-based healthcare

In medicine, which treatments actually work best? That question – at the heart of “outcomes-based healthcare” - places the patient at the heart of the health ecosystem; and it has become a major trend in health policy around the world over the past decade. But to make it work, we need to get better at gathering, analysing and acting on patient data. We also need to guarantee the security and privacy of that data. This session will explore tools available or in development, privacy rules to be settled and security measures to be taken to advance this policy change. It is organised by Science|Business Healthy Measures, a multi-stakeholder communications platform for better, equitable and effective health delivery across the EU through sharper focus on patient outcomes.

This session is organised by Science|Business at the conference 'Health in the Digital Society. Digital Society for Health'. Registrations can be made following this link.
