Here’s a list of funding opportunities in the EU, Japan, the UK, South Korea, Singapore, the Philippines and the Nordic countries

The European Union and Japan are seeking to deepen their cooperation in artificial intelligence and quantum technologies, representatives from both sides announced during a meeting hosted by the European Parliament in early April. 

MEP Christian Ehler emphasised the need for like-minded democracies to strengthen cooperation in research and innovation, to ensure that technologies such as AI and quantum computing evolve in ways that benefit society rather than cause harm. His remarks were later echoed by Japan’s ambassador to the EU, Katsutoshi Aikawa.

"European and Japanese researchers have the talent needed. Working side by side, they can compete globally in these fields," added Signe Ratso, the European Commission’s chief negotiator for association agreements.
