An expert report on science diplomacy makes the case for funding refugee scholars and diaspora networks overseas

Targeted EU funding for refugee scholars and researchers at risk has been recommended by an expert group reporting to the European Commission on scientific diplomacy. Associations for Europe’s scientific diaspora should also be set up and resourced, its report says.
Around 130 science and diplomacy experts from across Europe were involved in creating the report, which was released last week.
