Funding opportunity

Oil giant Shell is offering grants of up to £40,000 to UK SMEs with plans for a product or service which helps combat climate change, under the fourth round of its Shell Springboard initiative.

The fund is open to small businesses based in the UK, which sees reducing greenhouse gases as a business opportunity, not just a cost.

The closing date for applications is midnight on Friday 7 November 2008.
