Science|Business Summer Reception

The reception will also feature a high level debate (17:15 – 18:00 CET) on the R&I priorities of Spain’s upcoming EU presidency, including its desire to strengthen cooperation between Europe and Latin America. Following opening remarks from David González Martínez, research counsellor at the Spanish Permanent Representation to the EU, three of Latin America’s most senior diplomats in Brussels will share their views on the strategic importance of this relationship moving forward: Pedro Miguel da Costa e Silva, Ambassador of Brazil, Gloria Navarrete, Ambassador of Chile, and Atilio Berardi Hueda, Ambassador of Argentina.  Discussions will be moderated by Florin Zubaşcu, executive editor of Science|Business.
