European Qualifications Framework

Ireland has become the first Member State to link its national qualifications to the European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning.

Stakeholders from national bodies, social partners and industry met up this week to consider how best to implement the European Qualifications Framework.

The European Parliament has formally adopted the European Qualifications Framework, clearing the way for a system that will make it easier to compare qualifications from one country to another.
