The event has been opened by Mercedes Alonso, ambassador of Spain in singapore and professor Ng Wai Hoe, GCEO SingHealth of the health service of this country in southeast asia on the part of.CDTI Innovationhas participated Carlos de la Cruz, Director de tecnología and internationalization.
In addition, a spanish delegation composed of six entities: Instituto Cajal-CSIC, Automatic and Robótica CAR (CSIC-UPM), Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language (BCBL), TETRANEURON, NEWMANBRAIN and NEUROSTECH, have put forward their technological capacity in the area of neuroscience and have submitted their initiatives for cooperation and partnership with Singapore.
During this jormada, experts from both countries have been addressed by the current challenges neuroscience and artificial intelligence of our times and the scientific, technological and entrepreneurial to shed light on the existing excellence in these areas and sharing knowledge, experience and best practices with regard to the scientific, technological and entrepreneurial skills to address, jointly, the regulation of economic and ethical challenges.
There have also organized meetings to spanish companies that are members of the delegation, as well as technical visits to the following entities singaporeans: National University of Singapore NUS, * STAR BMRC SHOFI office, innovation and the National Singhealth Neuroscience Institute.
CDTI Innovation
The CDTI innovation is the public funding of innovation of the ministry of science, innovation and universities that promotes innovation and technological development of spanish companies, channeling requests for funding and support for r & D & I projects of spanish entities at the state and international levels. We Contribute to the improvement of the technological level of spanish companies and drive and, with an international network with coverage of 51 countries support the spanish participation in international programmes for technology cooperation and the international transfer of technology. The CDTI also supports the creation and consolidation of technology-based enterprises in Spain.
