The EU’s Digital Europe fund has opened calls worth €63 million for AI innovation projects, including funding available to research organisations and universities.
In line with the goals of the roughly €8 billion fund, the topics cover digital health, digital skills and online safety.
The fund does not fund research and innovation projects as such, but supports deployment, scaling and uptake of digital technologies, with many projects requiring input from researchers who work in translational, interdisciplinary or industry-collaborative environments.
