The US may be preparing to “drill, baby, drill” but Europe is still backing hydrogen production as a major future energy source. On March 28, the EU signed a series of agreements to boost Chile’s renewable hydrogen sector, including up to €200 million in financing from the European Investment Bank and KfW Development Bank, along with a €16.5 million grant to support green hydrogen development.
