University of Aberdeen to set up life sciences incubator

The University of Aberdeen has won £1.6 million from the development agency Scottish Enterprise to set up an incubator, the Life Science Innovation centre on the site of the former Children’s Hospital.

The university is putting £350,000 into the project, with a further £300,000 coming from Aberdeen City Council.
