Ireland: Alimentary Health signs consumer products partner

Alimentary Health Ltd, a development stage specialty biotechnology company, has announced that it has entered into an exclusive evaluation agreement with a major consumer healthcare company, which will assess Alimentary Health's proprietary probiotics, and will have the opportunity to acquire certain rights in sports nutrition products.

Cork, Ireland-based Alimentary Health specialises in the discovery, development and commercialisation of proprietary probiotic and pharmabiotic treatments for gastrointestinal disorders and other inflammatory conditions.

Barry Kiely, CEO said, “We are pleased to have completed this agreement, which is important to Alimentary Health because it provides an alliance with a partner that will broaden the number of potential markets [we are] targeting.”
