Technology transfer

The Alimentary Glycoscience Research Cluster at the National University of Ireland in Galway has been launched with a government grant of €5.2 million.

The tech transfer arm of Imperial College London said it is gaining momentum and the portfolio is maturing as it reported results for the year to 31 July 2009.

The UK has began a consultation on a new system for assessing the quality of university research that will also take into account the quality of tech transfer.
