Research contract

Genomatrix Software GmbH of Munich was awarded a €1.3 million BioChance research contract from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research to extend the reach of its RNAi-mediated regulatory networks technology. Genomatrix’s skills in gene regulation will be complemented by academic collaborators from LMU Munich and DKFZ Heidelberg.

“Regulatory RNAs represent a very important, yet underestimated component of gene regulation,” said Thomas Werner, CEO and CSO of Genomatrix. The work carried out as a result of the grant will enhance the company’s microarray analysis systems.
