Beringea Ltd, manager of the ProVen Venture Capital Trust, said it was investing in Steak Media of London, a specialist in developing internet-based marketing and advertising campaigns. The size of the investment was not disclosed.
Steak was founded in 2004 by previous employees of London based Espotting, one of the first companies to develop techniques for selling paid for advertising on the Internet by linking adverts to key words used on search engines. Beringea and the ProVen VCT was an investor in Espotting also.
