PowerOasis gets backing from business angels

PowerOasis Ltd, a specialist in providing renewable power for wireless communications networks, has secured funding from three of the UK’s leading business angels, David Norwood, Jon Craton and David Embleton.

Norwood was founder of the quoted technology commercialisation firm IP Group Plc, while Craton and Embleton co-founded the telecoms service provider Cramer Systems, a specialist in inventory management and automation software.

PowerOasis’ technology manages and controls the delivery of renewable power to telecommunications base transceiver stations. The company is one of five high-tech start-ups to receive business support through FASTtrack, a UK Trade & Investment–funded programme.
