New ETH chair of Physical Activity and Health

ETH Zurich and the Wilhelm Schulthess Foundation are set to expand their research and teaching collaboration. ETH Zurich will establish a new chair to study how physical activity affects human physiology and long-term well-being. The Wilhelm Schulthess Foundation is supporting the creation of the Chair of Physical Activity and Health with 10 million Swiss francs over a 10-year period.

University of Bologna continues archaeology excavations in Iran

Thanks to the renewal of the cooperation agreement between the Department of Cultural Heritage of the University of Bologna and the Iranian Center for Archaeological Research (ICAR), the fourth excavation campaign in Tol-e Ajori’s site, near Persepolis, has been carried out.

The OECD and Aalto University discuss enterprise

Over the course of two days of seminars, lectures, and workshops, experts in the field shared their experiences and ideas about best practice in an inspirational atmosphere.

Chalmers to become global disseminator of knowledge

At the beginning of 2015, Chalmers will start its first mooc – massive open online course – free of charge and accessible to anyone with a computer. The course will be on the super-material graphene, which has not been the subject for a mooc previously.
