Is your organisation interested in training employees to recognise cyber risks? Are you looking for inspiration or ready-to-use materials? Then be sure to take a look at the newly launched Security Awareness Resources Hub!
The Security Awareness Resources Hub is an initiative of the subtask Awareness, part of Work Package 8, Task 2 Human Factor within the GÉANT project.
The survey on the status of cybersecurity awareness within the NRENs that they conducted last year showed that the majority of our members consider the “human factor” to be a key element of cybersecurity.
Many of them are actively taking actions and developing tools and materials to train their employees and end-users in order to reduce human risk. Sharing experiences and knowledge is in the DNA of Research and Education Networking organisations, which is why they started working on the idea of launching a knowledge database on security awareness.
In the Security Awareness Resources Hub, you can find not only materials developed by GÉANT itself, for example in the context of the past Cyber Security Month campaigns, but also numerous tools made available by NRENs to the community and more general sources with background information on security awareness.
Easy to use
The Resources Hub includes a handy filtering system that allows you to filter the materials by type, language and target audience, among other things. Furthermore, you can see at a glance in the ‘copyright’ column how you are allowed to reuse the material.
Add your own materials
This version of the Resources Hub is a starting point. To further expand our knowledge base, we encourage you to share your own materials. You can do so directly via this form. After a review at our end, your materials will appear in the Resources Hub and other members in the R&E community will be able to benefit from them!
