As an indicator of multidisciplinarity of the 70 new COST Actions, 47% of all new Actions cover at least two OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) fields of science and technology, while 11% cover at least three fields.
Natural sciences leads the way as the most represented field of science (represented in 50% of the new approved Actions), followed by Medical and Health Sciences (34%), Social Sciences (27%), Engineering and Technology (24%), Agricultural Science (13%), and Humanities (11%).
On June 23 the new COST Actions, including all Memorandum’s of Understanding, will be available on the COST website and the first Management Committee meetings will start between September and October 2022.
