Switzerland’s biotech sector enjoyed healthy growth in 2007, according to the latest annual report of the industry body, Swiss Biotech.

In 2007 the Swiss National Science Foundation awarded grants worth a total of CHF 531 million, and despite record application numbers the success rate increased.
