The European Commission is working up multiple generative artificial intelligence calls in next year’s Horizon Europe work programme as part of a €500 million push to find industrial real-world uses for the technology popularised by ChatGPT.
The GenAI4EU initiative is one plank of the Commission’s plan, announced in January, to help the EU catch up when it comes to AI.
