ESADE and Fujitsu sign a collaboration agreement to foster innovation in society

The agreement was signed by Eugenia Bieto, Director General of ESADE, and Ángeles Delgado, General Manager of Fujitsu, at the headquarters of the Japanese multinational.

Fujitsu and ESADE have signed a collaboration agreement under which the Japanese company will become a trustee of the business school and a collaborator in the PARTNERS Programme, an initiative of ESADE’s Institute of Public Governance and Management. Fujitsu has decided to formalise its relationship with ESADE, whose mission is educate and conduct research in the fields of management and law, offer comprehensive training, create knowledge, and contribute to social debate.

The agreement was signed yesterday at Fujitsu’s headquarters by Eugenia Bieto, Director General of ESADE, and Ángeles Delgado, General Manager of Fujitsu.

Eugenia Bieto, Director General of ESADE, declared: “More and more, training, innovation and knowledge are becoming essential in order for companies and society to better understand and adapt to the ever-changing environment. Therefore, the decision to pool the efforts of these two organisations is a positive step that will contribute to our country’s economic growth and social development."

According to Ángeles Delgado, General Manager of Fujitsu: “It is a real privilege for us to become a trustee of the ESADE Foundation. Like our company, ESADE is an organisation that thinks about the future and believes that quality and research are the only ways to increase knowledge. We will work together interactively to develop executive education, to improve the management of public-private partnerships, to promote research for the creation of general-interest goods, and to engage in high-quality social debate as a vehicle for the exchange of knowledge between executives and institutions. Here at Fujitsu, we aim to provide value to government bodies, companies and society at large through our solutions and services. This agreement is yet another example of that."
