On 12th September 2011 the gala signing of the Partnership Cooperation Agreement with the Saint-Gobain Group took place at main building of Warsaw University of Technology.

Saint-Gobain is one of the largest foreign investors in Poland, where it has been operating since 1993. The company has become a leader in all areas of its operation. Saint-Gobain has 25 manufacturing plants in Poland, and headcount of 6.5 thousand of employees. The company plans its further development in Poland.
Saint-Gobain Group wishes to support WUT students and graduates in the field of management theory and practice by sharing its best experience during open presentations, lectures, workshops and meetings with the employees and management of all Saint-Gobain companies.
The agreement aims to free exchange of views and experiences, and the simultaneous operation of the fair, responsible and acceptable practices relating to intellectual property rights.
Saint-Gobain Group would like to actively cooperate with Warsaw University of Technology in the area of the knowledge and experience exchange, as well as to support students and graduates in the area of management practices by sharing its best practices during open presentations and lecturers, workshops and meetings with staff and management of all Group’s companies. Saint-Gobain will offer students the opportunity to participate in specifically designed development programs, which will significantly increase their competitive advantage in the job market after they graduate.
The agreement was signed by Olivier Lluansi, Saint-Gobain Group President for Eastern Europe, and prof. PhD, Eng. Włodzimierz Kurnik, the Rector of Warsaw University of Technology.
