Telecom Paris,
a French Grande École specialized in communications and information
technologies, announced the nomination of Eric Labaye, Directeur Général of
McKinsey France,
to its governing board.
The appointment, the school said,
follows the arrival of Citroen’s director general to the board – and signals “the
opening of the school to varied economic sectors.” The school has more than
1,200 students, and is a member of ParisTech.
Labaye, 45, has been Directeur Général of
McKinsey France
since March 2002, and is specialized in the consulting firm’s high technology
and telecommunications practice. et est également membre
du Shareholders’ Council de McKinsey. Before
joining McKinsey in 1985, he worked with France Telecom. He is a graduate of Ecole
Polytechnique and Télécom Paris and has an MBA from INSEAD.
