Innovation support
MediGene AG of Munich, Germany, has received a grant of €600,000 from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research under the Biotechnologie – BioChance scheme.
The programme is devised to boost the innovation potential of research-based small and medium-sized companies and strengthen the technological foundations of biotechs. MediGene was awarded the grant to support its immunology research.
Peter Heinrich, CEO of MediGene AG, said, “We are proud that our research project was chosen for this funding programme by an independent academic committee. This underlines our company’s expertise in research.”
