The European Commission in partnership with the KTH Royal Institute of Technology cordially invite you to a thematic forum on “Partnerships for Innovation and Socio-Economic Impact: The Entrepreneurial University”. The forum will take place at the premises of KTH in Stockholm on 19 - 20 March 2014.
Over two days high-level representatives from the university and business world; from relevant Nordic and Baltic, European and international organizations, public sector bodies and authorities as well as other stakeholders will come together to discuss on how inter-sectorial and transnational partnerships can strengthen economic growth in Europe through the development of local innovation eco systems.
The forum will be structured around the following four themes:
· Partnerships for growth in Europe
· Knowledge clusters: the development ofsuccessful innovation ecosystems
· Multi-disciplinarity and multi-layer innovation
· Inspiring pathways for moving forward
The programme includes a study visit to the EIT ICT Labs, STING and other facilities. In addition, a hands-on workshop (20 March) is offered on HEInnovate, a new online self-assessment tool launched by the European Commission in collaboration with the OECD for higher education institutions interested in developing their entrepreneurial potential and capacities.
