Horizon Europe: Implementing the strategic plan

After months of suspense and uncertainty, the formal countdown has begun for the launch of Horizon Europe, the EU’s new R&I Framework Programme. Following December’s political agreement on the overall budget and distribution, the race is now on to square all of the procedural and legislative circles so that the initial Horizon calls can be published this spring.

Much work remains to be done, however, to ensure a smooth implementation of the Commission’s strategic planning for Horizon.  In this private, online meeting, Science|Business Network members will have the opportunity to explore the next steps in Horizon’s implementation – in depth with Julien Guerrier, who as director of DG Research’s policy and programming centre is in charge of planning the programme.
