Science|Business, a Brussels-based media company focused on R&D policy and investment, is expanding its news team with the addition of an industry reporter.
This full-time position is for an experienced journalist, preferably in Brussels, who can break news and provide incisive analysis on R&D developments in the European tech, defence and other industries. Topics to be covered include R&D investments and strategy of major companies, the build-up of military R&D across NATO and other countries, and the expansion of EU programmes for semiconductor, aerospace and other strategic industries. The reporter will also contribute to our core coverage on EU R&D programmes and policy.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of professional news experience, including some industry coverage. Salary commensurate with experience in industrial/business news reporting.
- Native or near-native English writing and speaking skills
- Knowledge of French or German is a plus
- Working in Brussels is preferred (or ability to move there.)
