The Spanish National Research Council is the main agent responsible for implementing the Spanish System for Science, Technology and Innovation. 

The mission of the Spanish National Research Council is to promote, coordinate, develop and disseminate scientific and technological multidisciplinary research, in order to contribute to the progress of knowledge and economic, social and cultural development; as well as to train researchers and provide advice to public and private entities in these fields (art. 4 Statutes).

CSIC is looking for a R&I Internationalisation Technician to promote R&I funding opportunities, especially those related to the EU Framework Programme, Horizon Europe (HE), to attract new talent and recruiting partners for HE and international projects and fellowships, and to improve the CSIC´s competitiveness.

  • University degree (Spanish Degree equivalent to Licenciatura or Grado+Mater). Applicants with qualifications obtained abroad must be in possession of the corresponding Spanish homologation credential or, where appropriate, the corresponding certificate of equivalence to Spanish degrees;
  • Have a thorough knowledge of one of either English or Spanish and a satisfactory knowledge of the other language to the extent necessary for the performance of his/her duties;
  • Knowledge of the European Union, its institutions and the EU and international R&I landscape;
  • Experience in project management and proposal preparation, especially in relation to the European R&I Framework Programme, either collaborative and/or individual (ERC, MSCA);
  • Good knowledge Office applications, especially spreadsheets (MS Excel);
  • Good communication skills (experience speaking in public, to groups, or on line).
