EU-funded motion sensor gives more autonomy to Parkinson’s patients

A small sensor, a pair of headphones and a mobile phone are the elements of a prototype kit that can give more autonomy to sufferers of Parkinson’s disease. The kit is developed by REMPARK, an EU – funded project, and it records movement data and when the patient lacks coordination, it sends acoustic stimuli in the ear to help him walk in a straight line. Via Euronews
