EIT commercialising some 450 business ideas

Despite the recent budget cut to the EIT as part of Juncker’s investment plan, the growing interest of partners across Europe is moving the EIT into “a phase of growth and real impact,” says Tibor Navracsics, Commissioner for education, culture, youth and sport. The soon to be launched KICs, EIT Health and the EIT Raw Materials, are already mobilising 200 partners from over 20 member states, while three other KICs will soon be launched in sustainable food, added value manufacturing and urban mobility.
